Wait for the bell, can't hear the bell, where is the bell?

This is going to be me starting Saturday. Except at McDonalds and with a lot more pizazz! Ha
I'm just grateful I have a job at all. :)

The optimist in me

Today is one of those days where I just love everything. I'm very appreciative of my life and everything in it. So I'm going to ramble on my thoughts of happiness. Enjoy.
I have had quite the rough patch in the last six months or so, to say the least. I could go around pouting and complaining about how everything sucks and no one would blame me for this. It's probably even half expected of me at this point. But what good would that do? That wouldn't fix anything. What a waste of time.
I feel life is what you make of it. If you complain and mope around about how life sucks, then it will suck. But, if you take the hits and keep going with a smile on your face all the while, life will be good. Not necessarily easier, but good. Life isn't meant to be easy. There will be times in everyone's life where they are pushed so hard they feel they will break if anything else happens. We just have to keep going and remember that if we truly were not strong enough to handle it, it would not happen. Also, we never ever have to deal with our trials alone. There is always someone who is there ready and waiting to help, all we have to do is ask. There is someone who knows EXACTLY how we feel and what we are going through. There is always someone to talk to about it. I think you can figure out who I am talking about ;)
I have had a very certain knowledge of these things for the past couple years. I learned the truthfulness of it all through experience. Lately, I think I forgot. I never doubted it, I just didn't think of it. Instead I complained, and let my self become discouraged. Let me just tell you, it only makes things worse to be that way. I choose happiness over that any day :) I apologize to those of you who have had to deal with my negativity for the last couple months or so.
Something else I believe is that you choose how you feel. That is one of the best lessons my mom taught me over and over again in the 19 years I had with her. It's something I will always remember her for. It's kinda like the quote by Eleanor Roosevelt "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." You are the only person who has control over your feelings. You choose whether something will make you happy, sad, mad, or whatever. It's a conscious decision you make. So choose not to get offended, not to get mad. Choose happiness always.
This also reminds me of a very good and popular quote by Joseph B. Wirthlin "Come what may, and love it" Hard things are going to happen. No doubt about it. Choose to react to trials with gratefulness instead of getting discouraged. Be happy for the trails. They only make you stronger. And through it all, be grateful for what you do have.
Life goes on whether we like it or not, so like it :) Life can be a very beautiful thing if you let it.
Alright, I've rambled on long enough. I think I had to write this all more for myself than for anyone else. I needed the reminder. :)
Smile and mean it! :D

$ $ $

I hate money.
Better yet, I hate the lack of money in my life.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

That is all I have to say today.
