For Sarah!

Aaron's sister Sarah didn't get to see our house all decorated for Christmas so she requested pictures. This post is for her :)

I found this Charlie Brown and Linus fun little decoration at Shopko and just had to have it. It says the true meaning of Christmas from A Charlie Brown Christmas the show. So cute!

You can't really tell but this is a precious Moments ornament that says our first Christmas 2009. It's still in the package because, if you know me, you know I only buy things if they are on sell. So we didn't buy it till yesterday. So it wasn't actually on our tree for our first Christmas, but it has the date. That's all that matters. haha

This is my little three foot tree I bought a couple years ago. Aaron doesn't like it. I think we will have a different one next year. I love it because of the miniature ornaments, tiny tree skirt, and the little star I bought for it. It's also fast and easy to decorate and undecorate.

That is all!

Gingerbread house and blisters. Must be Christmas time.

So our internet stopped working this last week, right after we finally got it. It was fixed today so I can update you on our eventful week. On Tuesday we made a gingerbread house from a kit. It came with Wonka candies to decorate with, how fun is that? :) It turned our really cute, I'm a little proud of it, I must say. haha. Here are some pictures!

Next, on Friday I was trying to make spaghetti pie for dinner, I placed the noodle straining spoon too close to the burner on accident, picked it up to use it, the plastic had melted and got stuck on my hand. I guess since it was hot and hurt I grabbed it with my other hand to stop the hurting and burned my other hand as well. Second degree burns on BOTH hands. Wow am I talented or what? The pain was pretty sever. Second degree burns are the most painful kind you can get, because if you get third degree it goes to your nerves so you just don't feel anything. I have six blisters between both hands. So, after getting opinions from my medical school brother and my dad's wife who is a nurse, we thought it best to go to the insta care to get it looked at. I was afraid I would get an infection from all the money I have to touch at work since burns have a higher chance of getting infected. The doctor gave me some prescription cream for it and told me I need to come back to have the blisters cut off after they pop. Ew and ouch. The pictures of it will be posted later. :)
For now, enjoy some random pictures of the center pieces made for my dad's wedding, which ended up being the only decorations there.

All at once!

Finally a day off! So here's what's been going on in our life's.
My birthday was on the 25th of November. It was so much fun! My brothers pitched in and got Aaron and I some Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert tickets. It was unexpected (by me and my brothers haha boys are so last minute) I was sooo happy when they called and told me. I hadn't been able to make it to the concert the two years before and I missed seeing them. They are amazing. The concert is pretty similar every year, but it's always so good! They have an awesome light and laser show going on the whole time. I love watching the violin player rock out, makes me miss orchestra. My present from Aaron was a Kitchenaid! I'm so excited for it! I haven't gotten to use it yet cause we've been trying to find a colored one, which is quite the task. If I don't find one today I'm just going to use the white one and finally start making holiday goodies! White is, after all, my favorite color. I just wanted one that wasn't like everyone else's and also ever kitchen appliance is white so it would be nice to have a little change but it's not a big deal. gets the job done either way.
The next day, the 26th of November was Thanksgiving. We spent it with Aaron's Family this year and will be spending Christmas with my family. I wish our families lived closer together so we could do both, but what can you do. My dad just got married and moved even farther away. haha
The 27th was, of course, black Friday! I love all the deals and stuff! I'm a big bargain shopper so this is a perfect day for me. It's so different in Logan though. I've only done it in Ogden and Park City with my sister-in-law before and it was always NUTS! This year was pretty chill. I had a great time and got lots of great stuff! What a good morning. After shopping we finally got to move into our house and we helped move Aaron's brother and sister-in-law into the parents basement. I'm not really sure why both things had to happen that day all at once instead of over the next two days but that's what we did. I'm happy to be moved. Thanks to EVERYONE who did help us move! We really do appreciate your help. We didn't even have to ask. Thanks. :)
So this was obviously a very busy and mostly enjoyable week.
Since then we have been working a ton, getting unpacked, finally getting to use our wonderful wedding presents, Christmas shopping, Going to Christmas parties, being busy, and enjoying life!

Loves!

PS Thanks to EVERYONE who has helped at all with getting our house ready to live in! Thank you thank you thank you! :)
